Universities Sign Dual Diploma Program Partnership

Synopsis: Azerbaijan Technical University and the International Turkic States University of Uzbekistan have signed a dual diploma agreement in Radio Engineering and Telecommunications, enabling students to earn degrees from both institutions while strengthening academic cooperation among Turkic nations.

Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) and the International Turkic States University of Uzbekistan have formalized a dual diploma agreement aimed at expanding academic collaboration and enhancing educational opportunities for students in the Turkic world. The agreement focuses on the undergraduate program in Radio Engineering and Telecommunications Engineering and will allow participants to earn degrees from both universities upon successful completion of their studies.

The agreement was discussed during an online meeting attended by AzTU Rector Vilayat Valiyev, International Turkic States University Rector Bakhodur Turayev, and representatives from both institutions. During the discussions, university leaders highlighted the academic and professional advantages that the joint program will offer students pursuing careers in advanced telecommunications and engineering fields.

The dual diploma initiative is expected to provide students with access to the academic resources, expertise, and educational environments of both universities. By studying under a shared curriculum and meeting the academic requirements established by the partner institutions, graduates will receive internationally recognized qualifications from Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.
