Anna University Starts TANCET 2026, CEETA-PG Applications

The Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) 2026 registration process and the Common Engineering Entrance Test and Admissions for Postgraduate (CEETA-PG) 2026 registration process have begun at Anna University, which provides an admissions opportunity for students who want to study postgraduate programs in Tamil Nadu.
The official portal tancet.annauniv.edu will allow eligible candidates to submit their applications online starting from March 16, 2026 until the registration period ends on April 10, 2026.
Anna University conducts its entrance examinations every year to provide entrance evaluation for all postgraduate programs which universities and affiliated colleges in Tamil Nadu offer.
The TANCET exam serves as the primary admission test for MBA and MCA programs while CEETA-PG functions as the admission test for postgraduate engineering and architecture programs which include M.E., M.Tech. , M.Arch. and M.Plan.
The postgraduate admission process depends on these exams since they serve as the primary method through which thousands of students obtain entry to government institutions and government-aided institutions and private institutions across the state.

According to the announced schedule, the TANCET 2026 examination for MBA and MCA programmes is expected to be held on May 9, 2026, while the CEETA-PG exam is scheduled for May 10, 2026.
Candidates will download their admit cards from the official website after the registration process ends and before the examination. The results will be published at a later date in the academic calendar followed by a centralized counselling process that will handle admissions.
Applicants must complete the online application by entering their personal details and academic information and submitting all required documents before they make the application fee payment through online methods which include net banking and credit card and debit card options.
Final-year undergraduate students are eligible to apply if they complete all required academic qualifications before the admission process ends.
