The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ranchi has partnered with FPSB India to launch a new executive programme in Advanced Financial Planning and Digital Finance which helps professionals develop advanced skills needed for wealth management and financial advisory work.
The programme is designed primarily for working professionals who want to develop advanced knowledge in personal finance while pursuing the globally recognised Certified Financial Planner (CFP) certification pathway.
The two institutions established this partnership to create a connection between educational programs and the changing needs of the financial services sector.
The course will use a hybrid learning system which permits students to maintain their employment while they acquire new professional skills.
The program offers a comprehensive financial planning curriculum through its CFP program and IIM Ranchi academic departments which specialize in financial analytics, artificial intelligence, digital transformation and sustainable finance.
The initiative aims to provide professionals with contemporary financial planning skills which will prepare them for executive positions in wealth management. The program will start in June 2026 and continue for approximately 12 months to teach students both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience in financial advisory services.
The curriculum includes multiple new fields which are changing the finance sector. The participants will learn about artificial intelligence-based wealth management systems and the study of human behaviour in finance and alternative investment options and environmental social governance and sustainable finance frameworks and digital financial systems and worldwide regulatory methods.
