JAC Delhi 2026 Counselling Registration Begins

Synopsis: JAC Delhi opens registrations for 2026 BTech and BArch counselling for DTU, NSUT, IIIT-Delhi, IGDTUW, and DSEU. Admissions are based on JEE Main scores, with applications open until June 9.
The Joint Admission Committee (JAC) Delhi has commenced the registration process for the 2026 counselling session for BTech and BArch admissions across some of Delhi’s leading engineering institutions. Eligible candidates can now apply online through the official JAC Delhi admission portal, with the registration window remaining open until June 9, 2026.
The counselling process facilitates admissions to premier institutes including Delhi Technological University (DTU), Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT), Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW), Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-Delhi), and Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU). These institutions are among the most sought-after destinations for engineering aspirants across the country due to their academic reputation, placement opportunities, and research-driven environment.

Candidates seeking admission are required to complete the online registration process, upload necessary documents, fill in their preferred choices of colleges and courses, and pay a non-refundable counselling fee of Rs 1,500 through online payment modes. Authorities have advised students to complete the process well before the deadline to avoid technical difficulties during the final days of registration.
Admissions under JAC Delhi 2026 will primarily be based on JEE Main 2026 scores. Candidates qualifying in JEE Main Paper 1 will be eligible for BTech admissions, while those clearing Paper 2 can apply for BArch programmes. For DTU, NSUT, IGDTUW, and DSEU, admissions will be conducted according to the Common Rank List of JEE Main Paper 1. Meanwhile, IIIT-Delhi will additionally consider bonus points awarded for achievements in Olympiads, sports, innovation, programming contests, cultural activities, chess, and the National Talent Search Examination.
The counselling schedule also includes an opportunity for candidates to modify their choices between June 26 and June 28, allowing applicants to make corrections or update preferences after the initial registration phase. Officials expect a high number of applications this year as engineering admissions continue to remain highly competitive across India’s leading institutions.
