The UGC guidelines are followed for admissions, and the evaluation of candidates depends on the UGC-NET score, a university-led written test (60% weightage), and an interview (40% weightage). Only UGC-NET qualified candidates can choose to attempt the written test to upgrade their score.

The selection includes a shortlist for the interview, which will be conducted on November 10, followed by the entrance test and interviews on November 22. The final results will be announced on December 1, and the Spring 2026 semester will commence on January 15.
