Canara Bank Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Registration Starts Oct 1

Canara Bank opens recruitment for 3,500 Graduate Apprentice posts for 2026-27, with registration starting October 1. Selected candidates receive 12 months of training and a monthly stipend of ₹16,650.

Canara Bank has announced the recruitment of 3,500 Graduate Apprentices for the financial year 2026-27 under the Apprentices Act, 1961. The online application process begins on October 1, 2026, and eligible candidates can submit their applications until October 17, 2026.

The apprenticeship programme will offer selected graduates 12 months of practical training at designated Canara Bank branches across various states and Union Territories. Candidates selected for the programme will receive a monthly stipend of ₹16,650 during the training period.

Canara Bank Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Eligibility: Candidates must be between 20 and 28 years of age as of September 1, 2026. Age relaxation will be available to eligible candidates according to the prescribed government rules.

Applicants must have completed graduation in any discipline from a recognised institution. The notification specifies that the graduation qualification should have been obtained between January 1, 2023, and September 1, 2026. Candidates must also have secured at least 60% marks in Class 12 or a Diploma. The minimum requirement is 55% for candidates belonging to the SC, ST and PwBD categories.

Application Fee and Selection Process: Candidates from the UR, OBC, EWS and other applicable categories are required to pay an application fee of ₹500, while candidates belonging to SC, ST and PwBD categories are exempt from the fee. The payment can be made online.

Selection will be based initially on a merit list prepared using candidates’ Class 12 or Diploma marks. Shortlisted candidates will subsequently undergo a local language test, document verification and medical fitness examination.

Candidates who have studied the relevant local language in Class 10 or Class 12 will be exempt from appearing for the local language test.

How to Apply: Before applying through the Canara Bank recruitment portal, candidates must complete 100% profile registration on the NATS portal and obtain an Enrollment ID. They can then access the Careers and Recruitment section of the Canara Bank website to submit the apprenticeship application.

Applicants must provide their NATS Enrollment ID and upload a photograph, signature, left thumb impression and handwritten declaration. They must also enter their personal and educational details, select their preferred state and district, and pay the applicable fee.

After reviewing the information, candidates should submit the application and retain copies of the final application form and payment receipt for future reference.
