IBPS Clerk Registration 2026 Opens August 1

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection opens online registration for IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2026 from August 1 to August 21. Preliminary exams are scheduled in October, followed by the main examination in December.
Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) declares the launch of the IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2026 registration process from August 1, 2026, to recruit candidates for the post of Customer Service Associate (CSA) in public sector banks. Application forms can be filled online till August 21, 2026, whereas the notification and application link are released on the official IBPS website on the same day.
As per the recruitment calendar, applicants may register themselves online, fill in the application form and pay the prescribed application fee from August 1 to August 21. Once the period for registration is over, IBPS will offer a facility for corrections for the mistakes made in the application form filled in by the candidates. The institute suggests that the applicants should read all the requirements before filling out the application form.

The entire procedure of recruitment will take place in various stages. The Pre-Examination Training (PET) of eligible candidates will take place in September 2026, after which there will be Preliminary Examination in October 2026. Those candidates who qualify for the preliminary examination will have to give their Main Examination in December 2026. Both the examinations will take place in computer-based test (CBT) form at different centers all over the country. The result of the preliminary examination will be declared in November 2026, and the provisional allotment will take place in March 2027.
The elaborate notification is anticipated to contain comprehensive details regarding vacancies, participating banks, reservation criteria, syllabus, examination format, selection procedure, and application fee. As per the notification, candidates of SC, ST, PwBD, ESM, and DESM communities will have to pay an application fee of Rs.175, whereas all other candidates will have to pay Rs.850. The application fee may be paid by using online modes of payment.
