Indian Army Agniveer 2026: 25,000 Vacancies Open

The Indian Army has officially launched its Agniveer Recruitment 2026, registration process which allows young candidates to apply for more than 25000 job openings that exist in multiple job categories.
The online application window commenced on February 13, 2026, and interested aspirants can submit their forms through the official recruitment portal joinindianarmy.nic.in.
The government created the Agniveer scheme for this recruitment drive which provides short-term military service to young people while they acquire military skills and professional training.
Under the Agniveer scheme, selected candidates between 17.5 and 23 years of age will undergo rigorous training before being enrolled as Agniveer soldiers for a four-year tenure which will include performance evaluation to determine possible extension of their service.
The recruitment process accepts both male and female candidates who need to meet educational requirements that differ according to their chosen trade with a minimum requirement of Class 10 (matriculation) education for some positions and higher secondary or equivalent qualifications for other roles.

Applicants must complete their registration online while they upload required documents and pay applicable fees before the deadline.
The recruitment process uses Physical Fitness Tests (PFT) and written examinations and medical examinations and merit evaluation to select only candidates who meet all requirements.
The training program at Army training centres provides instruction to candidates who successfully complete all evaluation stages.
