Rajasthan to Set Up Mental Health Cells & Well-Being Centres

The Rajasthan government introduced a new program which will provide mental health support services to medical students throughout the state who are studying for NEET UG 2026 and other competitive exams.
The officials announced their intention to create mental health cells and wellbeing centres which will operate at medical colleges and their partner institutions because they understand the high stress levels that medical student’s experience.
The organization intends to provide students with psychological assistance and counseling services and resources for managing stress which will enable them to handle their academic and emotional difficulties.
The proposed framework requires medical colleges to establish dedicated mental health cells which will employ trained counsellors and psychologists and wellness professionals.
