MP Police Constable Recruitment 2026: 7,500 Posts, Apply Soon

MPESB opens applications for 7,500 Police Constable (General Duty) posts, with registration running from September 22 to October 6, 2026, and the computer-based examination beginning on November 19.

The Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (MPESB) has started the application process for the MP Police Constable (General Duty) Recruitment Test 2026, inviting applications for 7,500 vacancies in the Madhya Pradesh Police Department. The online registration process begins on September 22, 2026, and eligible candidates can apply until October 6.

The recruitment drive covers vacancies under the Special Armed Force (SAF) and Non-SAF cadres. Of the total 7,500 posts, 700 vacancies are available under SAF, for which male candidates are eligible, while 6,800 Non-SAF posts are open to both male and female candidates.

Candidates are required to meet the educational and other eligibility conditions specified by MPESB. For the prescribed categories, candidates generally need to have passed Class 10, while candidates belonging to the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category are eligible with a minimum qualification of Class 8. Applicants must also fulfil the applicable age and physical standards prescribed in the recruitment rulebook.

The recruitment is conducted under Advertisement No. 583/2026. Candidates should check the official rulebook for the detailed age requirements, category-wise relaxations, physical standards and cadre-specific conditions before submitting their applications.

Candidates can apply online through the official MPESB website. Applicants need to register, enter their personal, educational and category details, upload the required documents and complete the prescribed fee payment. The application fee is reported at ₹500 for candidates in the unreserved category, while candidates belonging to eligible reserved categories are required to pay ₹250. Additional portal or kiosk service charges may apply depending on the mode of application.

The written examination is scheduled to begin from November 19, 2026 and is conducted in computer-based test (CBT) mode. The recruitment process subsequently includes physical tests, document verification and medical examination for candidates who qualify through the prescribed stages.
