AIMA Opens MAT December 2025 Registration

The All India Management Association (AIMA) is accepting applications for the December 2025 session of the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) for MBA and PGDM courses. Individuals wishing to take the exam can now sign up online via the official site - mat.aima.in.

MAT is the only management entrance exam held in two modes - computer-based test (CBT) and paper-based test (PBT). Candidates can choose to take both modes (PBT + CBT) and submit their highest score when applying to business schools. The MAT exam in December 2025 will take place in over 60 cities throughout India. The MAT December 2025 PBT is set for December 13, and the MAT 2025 CBT will take place on December 21.

In PBT mode, the final date for online applications is December 7. The admission card for this method will be issued on December 10. In the CBT mode, applicants may sign up until December 15 and can obtain their admit cards beginning December 18.

The fee for registering for one test mode (either CBT or PBT) is Rs 2,200, whereas those choosing both modes (PBT + CBT) must pay Rs 3,800. Individuals in any field of study can apply for MAT. Students in their final year of undergraduate studies are also allowed to take the test. The exam results are recognized by numerous management schools for MBA and PGDM entries for the 2026 academic year.

Among the institutes involved are Vellore Institute of Technology (Vellore), School of Business and Management, CHRIST (Deemed to be University, Bengaluru), NIT Surathkal, Xavier Institute of Management & Entrepreneurship (Chennai), Amrita School of Business (Coimbatore), N. L. Dalmia Institute of Management Studies and Research (Mumbai), Indian Institute of Forest Management (Bhopal), and Jaipuria Institute of Management (Noida), among others.
