IIM Calcutta Opens Admissions for Executive Finance Program

The Indian Institute of Management Calcutta and TimesPro, a prominent Higher Edtech platform, have announced enrollment for the 19th batch of their esteemed Executive Programme in Applied Finance.

The program cultivates sophisticated cognitive skills for methodical, practical financial decision-making and prepares professionals to make investment and corporate finance choices with accuracy and diligence.

With the rapid diversification of India's financial services sector, which includes commercial banks, innovative fintechs, NBFCs, pension and mutual funds, cooperatives, and payment banks, companies are consistently updating their operational frameworks for a technology-driven future.

Students acquire thorough, practice-oriented knowledge via 12 essential modules—such as Business Accounting and Analysis; Corporate Finance; Business Valuation; Fixed Income Markets; Financial Derivatives; Portfolio Management; Alternative Investment and PE/VC—plus specialized modules on AI in Finance & FinTech and the Future of Finance. The plan features a three-day campus workshop in the initial quarter and a later four-day workshop during the advanced-module phase or at the end of the program.

The teaching method includes very engaging sessions, case analyses, real corporate applications, and insights from practitioners provided by renowned IIM Calcutta faculty and industry specialists through TimesPro's Interactive Learning platform directly on devices.
