DoMS IIT Madras Extends Executive MBA Application Deadline

The Department of Management Studies (DoMS) at IIT Madras has postponed the application deadline for its Executive MBA Program to 26th October 2025. The sessions will take place on alternate weekends, allowing working professionals to participate.

This program focuses on preparing mid-career professionals to manage a contemporary business organization. This two-year on-campus degree program is designed for mid-career professionals to gain a functional and integrative viewpoint to acquire current management knowledge for leading a modern business organization.

The curriculum is practical, enabling students to acquire knowledge via three field capstone projects. The Project work will be hands-on, allowing students to utilize what they have acquired during the program to investigate a particular issue.

This program aims to provide students with extensive functional and wide-ranging industry knowledge, enhance them with a comprehensive view of cross-boundary business decisions, and enable them to lead and contribute to international businesses.

Candidates who have at least 60% in their Bachelor’s Degree in any field and a minimum of three years of work experience post-graduation can apply. The selected candidates will participate in the Selection process at the IIT Madras Campus on the 8th and 9th of November 2025, which includes a written aptitude examination and a personal interview.

A recent enhancement to the EMBA curriculum is the incorporation of an International Immersion Learning Program, which provided students with a 10-day practical learning experience at a renowned institution overseas – IESEG School of Management, Paris. The main emphasis of the program centered on Global Leadership and Cultural Intelligence.
