CBSE Date Sheet 2027 Soon as LOC Submission Portal Opens

CBSE is expected to release the tentative Class 10 and 12 board exam date sheet 2027 soon. Meanwhile, schools are submitting the mandatory LOC through the CBSE portal until October 21.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to release the tentative date sheet for the Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations 2027 soon. As of September 29, the board has not officially announced the release date, and students are advised to rely only on the CBSE website for the confirmed examination schedule.

The tentative timetable is expected to include subject-wise examination dates, subject codes, examination timings and important instructions for students. Once released, candidates can download the schedule from the official CBSE website. The board is expected to conduct the Class 10 and Class 12 examinations during February-March 2027.

The date sheet is being awaited as CBSE has already started several preparatory processes for the upcoming board examinations. The board has opened the online submission of the List of Candidates (LOC) for affiliated schools from September 24, 2026. Schools can submit the required student details through the official CBSE portal until October 21 without a late fee.

The LOC process is mandatory for students appearing in the 2027 board examinations. CBSE states that only students whose names are successfully submitted through the online LOC process are permitted to appear for the examinations. Schools are required to enter accurate information, including students' names, dates of birth, gender, photographs and selected subjects.

For Class 10, the current LOC submission covers the first board examination scheduled during the February-March period. Students who appear for the second Class 10 board examination are required to be registered separately, in accordance with CBSE's two-examination system.

CBSE has also advised schools to select subject codes carefully while submitting student details. The board specifically highlights distinctions such as Hindi A and Hindi B, Mathematics Standard and Mathematics Basic for Class 10, along with Hindi Core and Elective, English Core and Elective, and Mathematics and Applied Mathematics for Class 12.

Meanwhile, CBSE has released the Class 10 and Class 12 sample question papers and marking schemes for the 2026-27 academic sessions. The board also states that there is no change in the question paper design, assessment pattern or passing criteria for the session.

Students are advised to monitor the official CBSE website regularly for the release of the tentative timetable. They should also avoid relying on unofficial date sheets circulating on social media until the board publishes the schedule.
