Google Launches Skilling Program for Indian Startup Founders

US tech leader Google unveiled a two-week initiative through Google for Startups India aimed at preparing early-stage founders, startup teams, and aspiring entrepreneurs to create launch-ready AI prototypes utilizing Google’s AI resources.
The participants will be provided with the necessary tools and expertise to quickly transform their concepts into operational, AI-driven prototypes utilizing Google’s advanced AI technologies, the announcement stated.
The program is scheduled from November 27 to December 7, 2025, during which participants will learn to conceive, research, design, and implement AI-first solutions utilizing Google's AI tools, including Gemini, Nano Banana, Imagen, Veo, NotebookLM, and AI Studio. The program provides hands-on skills centered on AI-First Prototyping, AI-Driven Research, and AI Creative Studio, it noted.
Participants who excel will receive a Google-recognized Certificate of Participation and become eligible for the “Build the Future” Showcase in January 2026 for exceptional innovators, offering invaluable guidance from Google professionals, the announcement stated.

By leveraging the speed and seamless integration of Google’s full-stack AI ecosystem, the program will enable entrepreneurs to move from concept to creation faster and with greater confidence,” said Ragini Das, Head of Google for Startups – India.

CEO of MeitY Startup Hub, Panneerselvam Madanagopal, stated that the partnership embodies the objectives of Digital India and Viksit Bharat by enabling entrepreneurs nationwide to develop globally competitive solutions for social improvement utilizing AI.
In September, Google revealed the newest group for its complimentary three-month 'AI accelerator' initiative, a collection of 20 start-ups chosen from more than 1,600 applicants to enhance AI-powered solutions in sectors such as healthcare, finance, climate, and education. The firm noted that India’s generative AI landscape has expanded 3.7 times in the last year, positioning it as the world’s second-largest hub for GenAI startups.
