IIM Ahmedabad Unveils Blended MBA in AI, Analytics

The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA), India’s leading management institution has introduced innovative two-year Blended MBA Programme in Business Analytics & AI at an event held on its campus.
This cutting-edge MBA program is tailored for professionals and entrepreneurs seeking to merge advanced analytical and AI-enhanced skills with leadership, strategy, and management knowledge. The launch highlights IIMA’s enduring leadership in crafting forward-looking management programs that meet global standards and adapt to swiftly changing industry demands.
Offered in a hybrid format, the programme integrates live, Direct-to-Device instruction with selected in-person interactions at IIM Ahmedabad, featuring three campus modules, led by highly regarded faculty and strong peer collaboration.
It consists of a three-term format throughout the two years and provides a sophisticated curriculum that combines business management, analytics, and AI via case discussions, capstone projects, and action-learning experiences. Students have the option to select from 20 electives covering fields such as Predictive and Prescriptive Analytics, Product Management, Finance and Risk Management, Human–AI Collaboration and Change Management, AI Ethics, Policy & Regulation, Supply Chain Digitization, Gen AI, and Agentic AI, among others.
IIMA’s unique case method will introduce real-world strategic, operational, and governance challenges into the online classroom, allowing learners to implement analytical methods in business-related environments. Participants will also obtain remote access to IIMA’s learning resources during the programme, including the Vikram Sarabhai Library, state-of-the-art computing resources, and an extensive array of databases.

Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree /CA/CS/ICWA/CMA or comparable qualification in any field, with a minimum of 50% total marks or an equivalent CGPA from an accredited university to qualify. Professionals and entrepreneurs need to possess at least three years of full-time experience post a three-year degree (10+2+3+3) or two years of full-time experience following a four-year degree (10+2+4+2) by 31 March 2026.
Applicants are required to provide a valid CAT/GMAT/GRE score obtained in the last five years (GMAT Classic/Focus and GRE accepted; test dates must not be earlier than January 1, 2021) or take the Round-1 IIMA Admission Test for BPGP: BA & AI set for December 14, 2025.
