IIM Indore Scholarship 2026 Eligibility, Amount and Benefits

IIM Indore offers need-based financial assistance to eligible PGP, PGP-HRM and IPM students with annual family income below ₹12 lakh, alongside merit-based and government scholarship opportunities.

The Indian Institute of Management Indore (IIM Indore) offers need-based financial assistance and merit-based scholarships to support students pursuing management education. The institute provides financial aid to eligible participants facing financial constraints, ensuring that economic circumstances do not prevent them from accessing higher education.

The scholarship options are available to students enrolled in eligible programmes, including the Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP), Post Graduate Programme in Human Resource Management (PGP-HRM) and Integrated Programme in Management (IPM). Students can also explore scholarships offered by central and state governments, subject to the applicable eligibility requirements.

Under IIM Indore’s Need Based Financial Assistance (NBFA) scheme, students admitted to the PGP, PGP-HRM and IPM programmes with an annual family income below ₹12 lakh are eligible to apply.

The institute evaluates applications based on the financial circumstances of the student’s family, including income and assets. The applicant’s disciplinary record is also considered during the assessment. The final amount of assistance depends on the institute’s financial aid provisions for the relevant year and the individual applicant’s assessed needs.

The NBFA process involves two stages. Initially, the committee reviews the submitted application and supporting documents to assess the applicant’s financial needs. Selected candidates may then be invited for a personal interaction to verify the information provided and evaluate their circumstances further.

Applicants must obtain and submit the prescribed form through the relevant PGP or IPM office. Incomplete applications and forms submitted after the specified deadline are not considered. Parents or guardians may also be required to complete and sign designated sections of the application.

Students admitted through reserved categories or the EWS quota may also apply if they meet the scheme’s income and other eligibility requirements. The final decision on financial assistance rests with the institute’s NBFA Committee.

In addition to need-based assistance, IIM Indore students may access merit-based and merit-cum-need-based scholarships. Eligible students can also apply for government scholarships offered through central and state schemes, depending on their category, academic programme and other prescribed conditions.
