IIM Udaipur Launches BBA for 2026; Applications Open

The Indian Institute of Management Udaipur is introducing a new BBA program starting with the 2026 batch. It is a four, year residential undergraduate degree for which applications are now open. Along with the BBA program, a unique bilingual learning support model is being introduced to make high, quality management education more accessible and inclusive.

The BBA program is a post, Class 12 entry program, focusing on delivering a comprehensive, multi, disciplinary education in business, economics, analytics, entrepreneurship, and leadership. It operates on a trimester, based system and offers a flexible curriculum where students learn foundational management concepts through core courses in the first two years, and in the subsequent years, they choose electives, undertake industry projects and internships, and complete a capstone. Study tracks will be available in Digital Business, Finance & Accounting, Marketing, Operations & Supply Chain, and Entrepreneurship & Innovation.

What makes this initiative more appealing is the bilingual learning support, where essential concepts, readings, and discussions will be provided in both English and Hindi (with a possible extension to other regional languages in the future). Through this program, the language problem faced by the students from different linguistic backgrounds will be solved, especially students coming from non, metro and rural areas, to engage effectively with the content while still being able to develop strong English proficiency for global careers.

The eligibility and admission process for the BBA program at IIM Udaipur states that candidates must have completed their 12th standard (or equivalent) with at least 60% total marks (for SC/ST/PwD candidates 55%). Besides, they must have a valid score in any one of the qualifying entrance examinations, i.e., IPMAT, CUET UG, or JEE Main for the 2026 admission cycle. Candidates are first shortlisted on the basis of their entrance exam scores and academic records, and then they have to go through a Personal Interview and Written Ability Test as part of the final selection.

The program will be delivered from IIM Udaipur’s campus, which is equipped with world, class infrastructure and provides access to high caliber faculty, industry connections, incubation facilities, and student exchange programs abroad. Prof. B. P. Mishra, Director of IIM Udaipur revealed that the BBA is designed to develop future business leaders of India who are prepared for challenges that may come their way, and it is a comprehensive program focusing on inclusiveness, hands, on learning, and ethical leadership.
