IIT Gandhinagar Launches New MTech, MDes Tech Design Courses

The Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar developed new academic programs which include Master of Technology and Master of Design degrees to provide advanced education in emerging technological fields and design innovation.
The Master of Design program which the institute created under Integrated Design and Technology establishes a pathway for students to merge engineering with design studies for developing solutions that combine technical skills with user-focused design processes.
The MDes programme will be a two-year course and admissions will be conducted through the Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED).The selection process for candidates who achieve CEED qualifying scores will include studio tests and interviews which will assess their analytical and creative skills.
