The branch, which will be located at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, will provide dual-degree programs together with NFSU's main campus in Gandhinagar, India. It will also educate competent workers for Kazakhstan’s law enforcement and judicial systems in areas such as digital forensics, applied criminology, and IT security.

This collaboration anticipates developing together scientific and legal research projects, to raise academic capacity in Kazakhstan and to put the country on the map as the central place for forensic and technological education in Central Asia.

Among others, the construction of cutting-edge laboratories, the creation of the professional training programs, and organizing the expert exchange visits are all part of the plan aimed at improving the area’s skills in cybercrime fighting and digital forensics literacy.
