Candidates who have passed the CA Intermediate or CMA Intermediate examination in Finance and Accounts are eligible to apply. Applicants must also meet the training requirements specified by their respective institutions.

The prescribed age range is 18 to 56 years. Candidates born on or after October 27, 2008, or before October 26, 1970, are not eligible for the programme.

NPCIL screens applications on the basis of the aggregate marks obtained in the Intermediate CA or CMA examination. Candidates who do not have their final examination marks at the time of application are not considered for screening.

Shortlisted candidates are called for a personal interview in a 1:5 ratio, based on their aggregate marks. The interview is conducted in virtual mode, allowing shortlisted applicants to participate online.
