SBI Scholarships Offer Up to ₹15 Lakh, Apply Now

The SBI Foundation has opened applications for the SBI Platinum Jubilee Asha Scholarship 2026, offering financial assistance from ₹15,000 to ₹15 lakh for eligible students across school, higher education, and overseas master's programmes.
SBI Foundation has launched the call for applications for the SBI Platinum Jubilee Asha Scholarship Programme 2026, which is one of the largest corporate scholarship schemes in India, which intends to help deserving students belonging to weaker economic backgrounds. Through this scheme, scholarships totaling ₹100 crore will be provided this year to 25,707 students all over India through financial aid ranging from ₹15,000 to ₹15 lakh.
The purpose of the scholarship scheme is to remove financial obstacles to education and allow deserving students the opportunity to excel academically on various education levels. The application for the scholarships is invited from the students who are enrolled in classes 9 to 12, under-graduation/graduation level, MBBS, IIT, IIM, and master’s programs at overseas countries.

Applicants are expected to obtain a minimum of 75% marks or 7.5 CGPA in the previous academic year. Higher education scholars need to be enrolled in an eligible institution, which could either be NAAC-Accredited Institutes having A Grade or above, NIRF 2025–26 ranking institutes that rank within Top 300, or institutes which rank amongst Top 200 in QS World University Rankings 2025–26, according to the type of scholarship scheme. The annual family income of the applicants needs to be less than ₹3 lakh for school applicants and ₹6 lakh for college applicants.
However, the amount of the scholarship depends on the academic level. School-going children are eligible for an annual scholarship starting from ₹15,000, whereas higher education, professional studies, and international master’s degree aspirants get considerably more help, the amount reaching as much as ₹15 lakh. The scholarship can be received during the entire study period provided that the conditions are met.
Suitable candidates may apply online at the SBI Asha Scholarship official website by choosing the relevant category of scholarship, filling up the application form, and uploading the necessary documents. It is recommended that applicants go through the complete eligibility criteria before applying. The last date for applying is September 4, 2026.
