The Delhi government has launched its application process for scholarship programs which will operate during the 2025–26 academic year. The programs aim to provide financial help while creating better educational opportunities for students who come from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

The official e-District portal allows eligible candidates to submit their applications which have different deadlines that mostly occur between January and April 2026.

The scholarships provide various benefits which include tuition fee reimbursement and merit-based financial aid for higher education and academic assistance for school studies.

Some schemes are designed for students from Class 9 onwards while others extend to undergraduate postgraduate and professional courses. The study-related expenses which include books and stationery and maintenance allowances enable families to decrease their total financial costs.

The eligibility requirements for the program need applicants to show their SC, ST, or OBC status while they must show their academic achievements and meet the defined income restrictions.
