National College of Ireland Offers Rs 75 Lakh Scholarship

The National College of Ireland (NCI) established a new scholarship program for Indian postgraduate students which will take effect during its 75th anniversary celebration to help international students pursue their studies more easily and affordably.

The New Delhi event which presented the new scholarship program was attended by senior education leaders and the Irish Ambassador to India and it demonstrated the developing academic relationship between India and Ireland while showing increasing interest from Indian students toward Irish higher education institutions.

The scholarship fund, valued at ₹75 lakh in total, will be awarded to academically outstanding and deserving Indian students enrolling in selected postgraduate courses at NCI.

The support is provided through tuition fee reductions which assist students pursuing advanced studies in business computing and psychology. The financial assistance helps students study abroad while they complete programs that match industry requirements and improve their job prospects.

The president of NCI, Professor Gina Quinn, stated that the project demonstrates the college's dedication to providing quality educational access while helping students achieve their career development goals.

NCI operates as a state-supported institution which receives funding from Ireland's Higher Education Authority to provide education to over 6500 students while maintaining its strong partnerships with employers in the Irish technology and finance industries.

The launch event included discussions about academic mobility which also included skills development and global partnership development between Indian and Irish higher education institutions.
