Govt's Free SATHEE App Helps Students Prep for JEE, NEET

The Ministry of Education has introduced the Self-Assessment, Test and Help for Entrance Exams(SATHEE) app as a free digital learning platform to support students preparing for competitive examinations such as JEE and NEET.
The application developed through a partnership with Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur provides students who cannot afford expensive coaching classes access to high-quality educational materials.
The SATHEE platform provides students with various study materials which include video lectures and notes and mock tests and previous years' question papers and self-assessment tools.
The materials receive expert creation from IIT educators and other distinguished professionals to guarantee educational excellence.

The app enables students from various regions to study content in their selected languages because it provides multilingual learning capabilities. The system allows students to ask questions which help them learn through more interactive and personalized learning experiences.
The platform acquired new popularity after it appeared in the "Real-World Impact of AI in Education" casebook which was presented at the India AI Impact Summit 2026. The SATHEE system introduced a new version which uses AI technology to deliver advanced functions that support exam preparation and tracking of student progress.
Beyond JEE and NEET, the app also supports preparation for other major exams such as CUET, CLAT, SSC, IBPS, RRB, and ICAR, making it a comprehensive tool for competitive exam aspirants.
