IIM Kashipur MoU for Sustainability & Clean Energy Programs

• IIM Kashipur and evACAD sign MoU to promote sustainability and clean energy initiatives.
• New executive certificate program launched in net-zero strategy and sustainability leadership.
• Program focuses on climate systems, circular economy, green finance, and inclusive leadership.

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kashipur has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with pManifold EV Academy Pvt Ltd (evACAD) from Nagpur to work together in areas such as clean energy technologies, carbon markets, green finance, ESG, circular economy, and sustainability.

In this collaboration, both organisations are launching a programme – Post Graduate Executive Certificate Programme in Net Zero Strategy and Sustainability Leadership – targeting working professionals in core engineering, energy, oil & gas, power, consulting, corporate finance, sustainability, and related fields who aim to enhance their skills and spearhead the shift towards sustainable development and clean energy for industries, the social sector, MSMEs, government agencies, and the general public.

Discussing a broad range of subjects from climate systems, decarbonization technologies, net-zero trajectories to carbon markets, climate funding, and sustainable business strategies, the press release stated.

This program is designed around three core pillars: people, planet, and profit. Participants will learn inclusive leadership in sustainability initiatives and change management methodologies through teamwork focused on sustainability, case study-based learning, and engagement strategies.

They will also be thoroughly educated on climate risk, economics, ecosystem thinking, and circular economy elements. Participants will additionally examine modern financing methods for sustainability initiatives and investment assessments.

The MoU was executed by Prof Kunal Ganguly, Dean (Development) of IIM Kashipur, and Rahul Bagdia, Chairman and Managing Director of pManifold EV Academy Pvt. Ltd., in the presence of Prof Vaibhav Bhamoriya along with other faculty and IIM members.
