IIM Kozhikode Launches AI-Focused Product Innovation Course

IIM Kozhikode introduces a 20-week executive programme in Product Innovation with AI & Agentic AI to help professionals develop AI-native products through hands-on learning, industry masterclasses, and practical projects.

The Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIM Kozhikode) has introduced a 20-week Executive Programme for Product Innovation with AI & Agentic AI, which will enable professionals to acquire the necessary skills to create scalable AI-native products. The program will assist professionals in their shift from traditional AI-based tools to creation of products using generative and agentic AI technologies.

The program encompasses all aspects of AI-based product development process, which includes finding opportunities, discovery, product strategy, rapid prototyping, release, optimization, and scale. Moreover, participants would learn about AI-enabled business models, design thinking, agile product management, autonomy, and data-driven decision-making. The integration of principles of product management and new AI technologies will help participants become ready for AI-driven innovations of tomorrow.

The program will be conducted by faculties from IIM Kozhikode along with experienced industry professionals who are currently working on developing AI-based products. As part of their learning process, participants of the program will be attending four master classes by industry experts that include subjects like innovation in AI-native product development, designing interactions between human and AI, agentic systems, and the future of AI-based product development.

The program is developed especially for product managers, technologists, entrepreneurs, consultants, and business leaders, with an emphasis on providing learners the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in incorporating AI into their products. Collaborative learning and assessments through projects will allow learners to develop skills necessary for driving AI-led transformation in various industries. According to the program information, the first cohort will start on September 23, 2026, online.
