IIM Raipur Launches 7 Future-Focused Management Development Programs

The Indian Institute of Management Raipur (IIM Raipur) launched seven Management Development Programs (MDPs) for September 2025, as part of the Executive Education initiative announced on September 2, 2025. The MDPs were designed and created by the IIM Raipur faculty to develop key skills in professionals around strategic management, information systems, general management and human resource management. The specific focus was on innovation, the use of AI (artificial intelligence), and new regulatory standards and developments in specific areas within the corporate environment.

The upcoming programs consist of Innovation, Co-creation & Design Thinking (September 25-27), Utilizing ChatGPT for Business & Education (September 4-5), Digital Transformation (September 8-9), Improving Employee Performance & Well-Being (September 9-11), a Masterclass on Decoding the Labour Code (September 12-13), Healthcare Management (September 20-22), and Business Analytics (September 27-29). Each program is structured around case discussion, practical applications, and participative sessions for workforce relevance.

Sanjeev Prashar, Professor and Director-in-charge at IIM Raipur, framed the programs as an investment in human capital and a response to measures such as AI adoption, compliance with the new labor code, and prioritizing the leadership role in employee well-being.

He mentioned the MDPs offered specialized perspectives on thematic areas of health care and analytics and that they primed participants for innovation and compliance with regulations. As the participants interacted with leading academicians, they developed a practice-based understanding of wide-ranging subjects relevant to their industries, together with a strategic disposition that would ensure organizational success.
