IIM Trichy Inks MoUs with Automakers for Management Programmes

The Indian Institute of Management Tiruchirappalli (IIM Trichy) has made important progress in enhancing its industry-academia partnerships by signing two essential Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) in July 2025.
These collaborations seek to enhance leadership skills throughout organizational tiers and reinforce the institute’s position as a center for executive education and talent cultivation.
IIM Tiruchirappalli entered into an MoU with Renault Nissan Automotive India Pvt. Ltd. (RNAIPL) to provide tailored certification programs aimed at improving the management abilities of senior executives at RNAIPL.
The MoU was officially signed by Dr. Saravanan P, Dean – Corporate Relations & Faculty Affairs at IIM Tiruchirappalli, and Mr. Keerthi Prakash VM, Managing Director of RNAIPL, during a ceremony conducted on campus.
This collaboration seeks to close the managerial skill gap and equip senior professionals at RNAIPL with strategic thinking, adaptive leadership, and ethical decision-making frameworks through the curated learning initiatives of IIM Trichy. A captivating exchange took place between the RNAIPL leadership, IIM faculty, and MBA students after the MoU was signed.
Simultaneously, Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) introduced the ARISE Core Talent Program, a premier leadership initiative for upcoming managers, in partnership with IIM Tiruchirappalli and MDI Gurgaon on July 3, 2025.
ARISE—an acronym for Aspiring, Recognising Individuals for Success and Excellence—aims to enhance leadership preparedness for high-potential staff at HMIL. The program combines academic achievement with business-oriented learning opportunities at the IIM Tiruchirappalli and MDI Gurgaon campuses.
Natwar Kadel, Vertical Head – Human Resources, HMIL, stated, “Our partnership with IIM Tiruchirappalli and MDI Gurgaon reflects our belief in strategic talent investment. The ARISE program is not just about learning—it’s about transformation.”
