The Indian Institute of Management Nagpur (IIM Nagpur), a prominent third-generation IIM known for its modern business education, in partnership with TimesPro, has unveiled the commencement of the ninth batch of its flagship Senior Management Programme (SMP).

This LIVE Online program aims to furnish senior professionals with strategic flexibility, cross-functional insight, and transformational leadership abilities vital for navigating today’s disruptive business environment.

The SMP is a 12-month leadership development program designed for individuals with at least 10 years of experience. Aimed at cultivating leaders prepared for the future, the curriculum is organized into three detailed modules—covering leadership and management in contemporary business settings, the mastery of financial insight and international strategies, and the examination of the connections between people, profit, and sustainability. Together, these modules encompass over 16 strategic concepts essential for high-level decision-making positions.

IIM Nagpur partnered with BetterUp for a two-year research project that revealed a notable lack of leadership talent and investment in leadership development, negatively impacting organizational growth.

A Harvard Business Review study highlights significant gaps in leadership development—misaligned motivations, a disparity between gained and necessary skills, and a lack of practical application. This underscores the necessity for synchronized development objectives, a significant focus on interpersonal skills, and the effective incorporation of learning.
