The scheme which the Ministry of Corporate Affairs launched creates actual work environments for students and fresh graduates to gain experience which will help them meet business requirements. The program selected candidates will receive work experience with leading companies from different industries which will help them obtain practical skills that increase their job prospects.

The program provides financial assistance to its intern participants as one of its most important features. The program provides participants with a monthly payment of about ₹9,000 which they receive through Direct Benefit Transfer to their bank accounts.
