However, the emergence of middle class families who are ready to spend their lifetime savings to educate their children abroad has also fuelled the number of Indian student travellers in the recent years. In 2015, the number of students from India going abroad came up to 360,000, recording a growth of 17.8 percent. For students who consider a high profile job as a viable option, a degree from a top foreign university tends to be a valuable choice to make, as the acceptability for such programs among corporate companies are much higher than the Indian degree programs.
