The University of East Anglia in the United Kingdom has announced a £10,000 Vice Chancellor’s Global Impact and Leadership Scholarship aimed at supporting international students who wish to pursue postgraduate studies beginning in September 2026.
The scholarship recognizes students who achieve high academic standards while showing potential to become leaders who will create positive global changes through their selected academic disciplines.
The university established this program to attract international students while providing them with financial support for their educational needs.
The award provides eligible postgraduate taught programmes at the university with a £10,000 tuition fee discount. The scholarship will only cover the first year of study for students enrolled in two-year master’s programmes.
Candidates must first obtain either a conditional or unconditional university offer for an eligible postgraduate program before they can apply. Applicants must demonstrate academic excellence through a UK 2:1 undergraduate degree equivalent achievement or current progress towards that goal.

As part of the application process, students must submit written responses explaining why they chose the university and their selected programme.
The students need to explain their professional goals and leadership objectives while demonstrating how their academic studies will enable them to create substantial global change.
The university will use these responses to assess applicants through their academic performance and their ability to make positive contributions to society.
The scholarship applications will go through two evaluation rounds which dedicated panels will conduct during their scheduled times in March 2026 and June 2026.
The final deadline for submitting applications is June 26, 2026. The scholarship cannot be combined with most other university awards, although it may be used alongside the International Early Payment Award.
The university established this initiative to assist talented international students while they conduct international leadership and innovation and worldwide academic cooperation in higher education.
