Bhumi Fellowship Program 2026
Fellowship programmes provide valuable social change opportunities for recipients who obtain academic scholarships. The Bhumi Fellowship Program 2026 is an example of such an initiative. The fellowship program developed by Bhumi, which is one of India’s largest youth volunteer organizations, aims to train young leaders who will work on educational system improvements and community development initiatives.
The program accepts graduates who are between 21 and 30 years old and have completed their studies in multiple fields which include humanities social sciences education management law engineering and medicine. Candidates must show dedication to social work while they pursue either teaching or educational technology or education system reform work.
The fellowship period requires participants to move to various cities which include Chennai and Coimbatore and Trichy. The selected fellows for this program receive a monthly grant of ₹25,500 while they execute projects that create positive effects on their communities. Applicants must submit their applications for this fellowship before the deadline which is March 31 2026.
The WINGS (Women Inspiring Growth in STEM) Scholarship Program
The process of establishing gender equality in scientific and technological work environments leads to the creation of an inclusive environment that supports innovative development. The WINGS (Women Inspiring Growth in STEM) Scholarship Program exists to support female students who want to enter STEM fields through their educational programs.
IIT Bombay received this initiative from its distinguished alumni Bharat Desai and Neerja Sethi to assist female undergraduate students who major in STEM fields at the institution. The scholarship function provides complete tuition fee coverage which equals approximately ₹2, 00,000 per academic year to assist students with financial obligations.
The program requires applicants to be female students who are currently studying undergraduate courses at IIT Bombay since the beginning of the academic year 2026 - 27. Students need to achieve a minimum CPI score of 6.0 while they are not allowed to receive any form of tuition scholarship. The program encourages young women to study STEM fields through its educational programs which develop their confidence and curiosity while they work towards making technological advancements. The application deadline is March 31 2026.
