SWAYAM, the free online learning platform by the Government of India, has introduced seven new Artificial Intelligence courses aimed at students from various fields including science, commerce, education, and sports.

The initiative embodies SWAYAM’s goal of creating a more inclusive, practical, and interdisciplinary approach to AI learning, assisting both students and professionals in grasping how intelligent technologies are transforming all sectors.

Among the available courses, the AI/ML Using Python program establishes the groundwork for artificial intelligence and machine learning, addressing Python coding, data visualization, and fundamental mathematical concepts such as linear algebra and optimization.

For sports fans, Cricket Analytics using AI applies data science on the field, allowing learners to examine actual match data and extract insights through case studies based on Python.

Teachers can take advantage of AI for Educators, a tailored course designed to aid instructors in incorporating AI tools into lessons, student evaluations, and engagement techniques, enhancing the dynamism and personalization of teaching.

Science students have the option of studying AI in Physics or AI in Chemistry, showcasing how AI aids in problem-solving for experimental physics, molecular modeling, reaction forecasting, and drug discovery.
