Swiss International University Launches Free AI Online Courses

Swiss International University (SIU) has established an online higher education by launching the first AI-powered free online courses accessible to students worldwide. Learners can finish the program and receive recognized certification.

Having led the way in virtual higher education over ten years ago, SIU is now enhancing its online learning experience in 2025 by incorporating AI into its educational platform.

Every course comes with a unique AI engine that utilizes over 500 training rules tailored to that course and can offer students’ responses in any language derived exclusively from the course's academic resources. This program will provide a tailored learning experience for all, irrespective of their language.

The program is intended to be fully open access. Consequently, people from various backgrounds can obtain quality education without facing the usual challenges of enrollment and tuition costs.

Learners can progress at their own speed and access resources anytime, anywhere, and on any device. After finishing the coursework, participants will obtain an official certificate electronically from the SIU branch in Switzerland.

The educational journey with AI differs from traditional learning. In contrast to conventional chatbots, SIU’s AI tailors itself to the specific content of the course and interacts with students naturally and intelligently.

During an announcement explaining the new initiative, Derya A. Briand, SIU’s Director of Academic Studies, said, “SIU was one of the first fully virtual higher education institutions in 2013. Now, we are excited to lead again by utilizing smart AI that helps students learn accurately in every language. Learning will be smart, inclusive, and global.”

SIU’s AI assistant guarantees that every student gets relevant and precise information to support them in thoroughly understanding the various aspects of intricate subjects in a way that aligns with their preferred learning methods.
