Delhi University Opens MBA, BSc Admissions Without CUET

Synopsis: Delhi University has opened admissions to selected distance learning programmes, including MBA and BSc courses, without requiring CUET scores. Applications for the 2026–27 academic sessions are open until July 24.
The University of Delhi (DU) has commenced the admission process for various distance education programs in the undergraduate and postgraduate categories for the academic year 2026–27, which will enable students to join without taking the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). Admissions are being facilitated by the University of Delhi through the School of Open Learning (SOL) and Campus of Open Learning (COL), both under the Department of Distance and Continuing Education (DDCE).
Applicants who qualify for admissions at DU can submit applications online via the DU admission website portal, and the submission process is open till July 24, 2026. It has been communicated by the university that the first list of admittees will be declared on July 27, 2026.

Other courses that do not require CUET scores are the MBA in Healthcare Management and BSc (Hons.) Computer Science, together with a number of other bachelor’s, master’s, diploma and certificate programs taught via distance and online learning modes. This is because these courses have been developed to ensure quality education for learners without necessarily visiting the learning institution.
The process of application involves the registration of the candidate in the admission portal of the university, filling up the application form available online, uploading of necessary documents, and payment of the required fee for application. The admissions will be made based on the criteria of eligibility mentioned for the respective course programs, thus making CUET marks irrelevant for these distance programs.
This initiative is especially helpful to professionals, students appearing for competitive exams, those living in distant areas, and people who missed their chance of writing CUET. With the aim of providing better access to flexible modes of learning, Delhi University wants to include a larger segment of students from all over India into the ambit of higher education.
