The National Informatics Centre Services Incorporated (NICSI) has opened applications for its Summer Internship Programme 2026, offering students an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in advanced technology and e-governance domains.

The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology operates this initiative to enable students to experience real-world government projects which serve as a direct connection between their academic studies and practical work experience.

The internship program concentrates on emerging fields which have high demand, including artificial intelligence and cybersecurity and data science and digital public infrastructure, making it extremely suitable for students who study technical subjects.

The 2026 summer batch application period will begin in early April but will close before the established deadline. The process requires candidates to complete the official application form and submit their academic documents together with their No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their institution after they check all information for accuracy.

The programme accepts students who attend accredited institutions and study information technology and computer science and their related fields.
