IIT Madras Launches Executive Program in Generative AI Now IIT

The Indian Institute of Technology, Madras' Pravartak technology innovation hub has established an executive program which Emeritus operates to teach business professionals about Generative AI and Agentic AI tools.

The four-month online course enables business leaders and managers to learn about applying advanced AI systems in actual business situations even if they lack technical and programming expertise.

The institute states that the program teaches students how to use Generative and Agentic AI through training that applies to various business functions including strategy development, marketing operations, finance, human resources consulting and product management.

The program trains participants to use AI tools in business operations through no-code and low-code platforms which help professionals automate their work processes and make better decisions while solving problems.

The course delivers practical learning through its hands-on training. The programme requires participants to complete more than 20 actual projects while studying more than 25 business-oriented AI applications.

The educational method which centers on projects enables students to apply their studies directly to their professional duties while they develop actual AI solutions.

The online programme starts on March 30, 2026, and is open to graduates and diploma holders with at least five years of professional experience. The programme does not need any programming background because it targets business professionals who want to improve their AI abilities.

This initiative from IIT Madras Pravartak and Emeritus aims to prepare business leaders for AI-driven economic environments through its combination of strategic insights and practical AI tool training.
