Employability is the need of every apprentice and when there is a need, it turns into demand. This universal demand is catered to by educational institutes to foster training and employment. The placement cell of RV College of Engineering has been successful in this facet of transforming education into employability. The institute established in 1963 is considered the best of its kind in Bangalore. It holds 95 percent placement record and has grown from strength to strength with 150 companies visiting the campus this year 2014-2015 for recruitment. The institute has adopted an \"Outcome Based Education (OBE) and Experiential Learning\", so the curriculum is given utmost attention as it is with the placement activities and is prepared keeping in mind the industrial requirement, technological advancements in the regional and national sphere. CISCO, IBM, Intel, Samsung, Bosch, Wipro, ABB, Mindtree, Infosys, Cognizant and many more are among the recruiters RVCE witnesses.
