Punjab Offers 460 Scholarships for Balochistan Students

The Government of Punjab has announced 460 scholarships for students from Balochistan for the academic year 2025–26, aiming to promote equal access to quality education and support talented youth from underserved regions.

The initiative which Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif introduced serves as a component of a larger effort which aims to enhance cooperation between provinces while delivering educational resources to deserving students who lack financial means to pay for their studies.

The Punjab Educational Endowment Fund (PEEF) together with the Balochistan Education Endowment Fund (BEEF) provides these scholarships to students. The educational program provides academic support to students who study at intermediate, undergraduate, and postgraduate educational levels. The scheme targets academically strong students who lack financial resources to ensure their merit remains intact.

The application process has begun because eligible candidates must apply through the official scholarship application process. The selection process will use both academic performance and domicile requirements to determine who meets the specific eligibility criteria for selection.
