CBSE and KIIT World School Gurgaon partner To Advance Health Literacy

In line with the global emphasis on health and well-being, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and KIIT World School Gurgaon will organize a dynamic health awareness event on Safety, Health, and the Environment (SHE). CBSE held the session at KIIT World School Gurgaon, which included 100 students from five famous schools: Red Rose Public School, Drona Public School, Ascent Public School, CCA School, and DPS Maruti Kunj.

To commemorate World Health Day's theme, "My Health, My Choice," KIIT has launched its Health Initiatives with a variety of meaningful activities. This pledge demonstrates the educational institution focus to instilling a holistic awareness of health in its students and faculty.

As a key partner, CBSE led the pilot Health Literacy Program at KIIT World School Gurgaon in conjunction with JaviX Life Pvt. Ltd. This comprehensive curriculum included Health Literacy Sessions, Health Planning, and a Health Camp, all designed to provide educators with vital understanding about health awareness and planning.

Ms. Priyanka, a respected clinical instructor from Vidyanta, led the program, which intended to offer critical insights into health literacy and planning. Following this enlightening discussion, Mr. Vijay Raghavan, CEO of Uniffy Enterprises Insurtech, underlined the need of insurance in providing both health security and financial stability.

Additionally, Mr. Munish Chawla, a co-founder of Jeevitam, participated actively in the class and provided insightful commentary on health literacy-related efforts. In addition to adding value to the occasion, his presence inspired educators to take an active interest in health-related concerns and comprehend the essential elements of preparation needed to effectively handle medical emergencies.
