The Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad (MICA), has launched The Social Media Influencer Programme, which is a 25-week online course aimed at empowering aspirants as well as existing digital creators by equipping them with skillful strategies necessary for a sustainable career.
This program targets India's booming creator economy, which is a $250 billion global industry, by providing a bridge between academic insights, business acumen, and practical application to solve problems related to personal branding and revenue generation.
Through the program, the participants will learn how to devise a content strategy, understand platform algorithms, monetize, engage with the audience, and use the generative AI technology for scalable creation. Along with MICA faculty Dr. Falguni Vasavada and Prof. Siddharth Deshmukh—who are not only scholarly but also creators themselves—the syllabus combines the learning of concepts and implementation of the strategies.

Monk Entertainment's Co-founder and CEO Viraj Sheth, an industry expert, will be conducting the sessions of Media Training for Digital Thought Leaders and Multi-Platform Content Distribution & Growth Strategy, which will mainly focus on authenticity, growth, and the management of influence.
The top five participants will be awarded paid internships at Monk Entertainment, Mumbai, and they will have the opportunity to acquire hands-on experience in creator management, brand partnerships, and campaigns. To accommodate the participants' schedules, the program is entirely online and costs Rs 1,00,500 plus GST. It will commence on the 28th of December 2025. The graduates will be provided with mentoring, live sessions, and tools that will help them gain credibility, consistency, and impact beyond follower counts.
MICA highlighted the concept of influence as the mixture of marketing, communication, and technology, thereby positioning the course as one that would professionalize the Indian creator landscape amidst the increasing demand for authentic digital voices.
