Synopsis: The Delhi government has opened ITI admission registrations for the 2026-27 academic sessions from June 8. Eligible candidates can apply online for various technical and vocational courses offered across government-run ITIs.
The Directorate of Training and Technical Education (DTTE), Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, has commenced the registration process for admissions to government Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) for the 2026-27 academic sessions. The online application window opens on June 8, providing aspiring students with an opportunity to enroll in a wide range of vocational and skill-based training programmes designed to enhance employability and technical expertise.
The admission process is being conducted through the official Delhi ITI admission portal, where candidates can complete registration; submit applications and access detailed information regarding available trades, eligibility requirements and the admission schedule. Authorities have advised applicants to carefully review the admission guidelines before proceeding with the application process.
Delhi’s government-run ITIs offer training across numerous technical and non-technical trades, catering to students seeking industry-relevant skills and career-oriented education. These programmes are designed to equip candidates with practical knowledge and hands-on experience, enabling them to pursue employment opportunities in various sectors or undertake further technical studies.

To apply, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria prescribed for their chosen trade. Educational qualifications vary depending on the course, with certain programmes requiring completion of Class 8, while others mandate Class 10 or higher qualifications. Applicants are also required to submit relevant documents, including academic certificates, identity proof, residence certificates and other supporting records during the admission process.
The admission procedure includes online registration, document submission, verification and merit-based seat allocation. Reservation benefits will be available to eligible candidates in accordance with the policies notified by the Delhi government. Applicants are encouraged to ensure that all information provided in their forms is accurate to avoid complications during verification and counselling stages.
Officials have highlighted that vocational education continues to play a vital role in preparing skilled manpower for emerging industries and technical sectors. With increasing demand for trained professionals across manufacturing, services and technology-driven industries, ITI qualifications remain an important pathway for career development and workforce readiness.
Students interested in securing admission are advised to complete their registrations well before the closing date and regularly monitor the official portal for updates related to merit lists, counselling schedules, seat allotment rounds and other admission-related announcements.
