SPJIMR Launches Fifth PGDM Online to Build Future Leaders

Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s S.P. Jain Institute of Management & Research (SPJIMR) has commenced admissions for the fifth batch of its Online Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) programme. The two-year program is approved by AICTE and targets working professionals who want to enhance their management abilities without interrupting their careers.

SPJIMR is one of the few institutions globally that possesses the triple crown of international accreditations-EQUIS, AACSB, and AMBA. The institute stated that the online PGDM program aims to blend academic rigor with flexibility and relevance to industry, making it available to professionals from various sectors and locations.

The initiative emphasizes developing skills in decision-making, problem-solving, and cross-functional leadership. The institute reports that earlier groups have featured individuals from diverse professional fields and regions, encompassing Central and South-East Asia.

The program is distributed across duration of two years. The initial year includes fundamental topics in functional and overall management, whereas the subsequent year provides participants the opportunity to focus on micro-specialisations. An essential part of the program is a six-month Industry Integrated Learning Project (IILP), complemented by a module focusing on Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

Along with online education, the program features three five-day on-campus immersions at SPJIMR’s Mumbai campus. These sessions emphasize faculty collaboration, peer learning, workshops, team projects, and interaction with industry experts. Participants may also choose to engage in an international immersion that provides insight into global business methods and cross-cultural education.

Discussing the program, Prof. Debmallya Chatterjee, Chairperson, PGDM Online at SPJIMR, mentioned it is designed to assist professionals in balancing work and personal responsibilities while gearing up for leadership positions that demand analytical insight and comprehensive thinking.

Individuals who finish the program successfully receive the PGDM Online diploma and are granted access to SPJIMR’s alumni network, which includes more than 18,000 professionals.
