The Kerala Infrastructure and Technology for Education (KITE), the technology arm of the State General Education Department, has launched an AI-driven, free entrance coaching programme aimed at benefiting roughly eight lakh higher secondary and vocational higher secondary students across the state’s government and aided schools.

The government of India presents its first educational initiative which provides free comprehensive coaching through Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology to students who study Science, Commerce, and Humanities subjects for competitive examinations.

The KITE initiative uses its Samagra AI Learning Room which creates personalized learning experiences through its AI system that evaluates student progress to determine their optimal study methods.

The system creates personalized question sets which include Beginner and Intermediate and Excellent levels to provide students with practice materials that match their current skills while helping them develop new competencies.

The platform has over 20000 questions which experts have verified and it includes mock tests that create authentic exam experiences to help students prepare for KEAM, NEET, CUET, CA, Foundation and multiple PSC examinations.

The coaching programme initially covers core subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology, Economics, Accountancy, Business Studies, and Political Science, with a second phase starting February 25 to include English, Reasoning, and General Awareness.

The KITE VICTERS television channel broadcasts sessions which students can watch on YouTube while accessing lessons through the dedicated portal.

The government has instructed school principals to establish campus facilities because many students lack personal digital devices and dependable internet access, which will help to close the digital gap and allow all learners to participate.
