IIM Jammu, ICSI Partner for Research and Training Programs

The Indian Institute of Management Jammu has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) to enhance quality in management education, research, training, and professional growth.
The two entities would collaboratively create and implement Management Development Programmes (MDPs), Specialized Training Programmes, Executive Education, and Faculty Development Programmes.
ICSI and IIM Jammu will collaborate on knowledge exchange via research partnerships, joint workshops, seminars, conferences, curriculum development, and sharing academic resources.
According to a statement from IIM Jammu, the IIM Jammu MoU aims to facilitate collaborative efforts in areas of common interest, such as research endeavors, faculty exchanges, and access to shared educational resources.
“This partnership underscores IIM Jammu’s vision of becoming a globally recognized management institute and ICMAI’s role as the statutory body responsible for developing and regulating the profession of cost accountancy in India,” it reads.

Prof. B.S. Sahay, Director of IIM Jammu, mentioned that the MoU with the Institute of Cost Accountants of India embodies IIM Jammu's larger vision of creating an ecosystem based on academic excellence, research-focused innovation, and effective executive education.
Prof Sahay noted that the partnership would enhance the academic and research connections between both institutions while also establishing a foundation for developing professionals and leaders equipped with the necessary knowledge, values, and skills to tackle the new challenges in an evolving economy.
