IIM Kozhikode Introduces New 4-Year Management Course

The Indian Institute of Management(IIM), Kozhikode, has introduced a first-ever undergraduate full-time program named Bachelor of Management Studies (Honours with Research). The Institute's Kochi Campus will be hosting this innovative four-year program, which aims to develop a new generation of responsible, globally-minded, and innovative leaders for all facets of business and industry.  The curriculum, which will start in the academic year 2025–2026, blends the depth of multidisciplinary study with the demanding nature of management education.

For the applicants who want to pursue their academic education in the Bachelor of Management Studies from the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode, these are some important dates that the aspirant should be aware of. The applications for registration to this program started on April 22, 2025, and registrations will conclude on May 22, 2025. The admit cards for the entrance test will be released on June 9, 2025, and the entrance test will be conducted on June 22, 2025. The interviews, as scheduled by the institute, will be conducted in July 2025.

Students can select from a variety of minors in this program, such as big data and finance, economics and public policy, psychology and behavioral sciences, artificial intelligence and machine learning, and liberal sciences, among others.

The Bachelor of Management Studies (Honours with Research) program of the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode, is a four-year program that offers a plethora of career opportunities and a chance to collaborate with top academic experts and to be a part of the cutting edge research projects.  This program is also completely aligned with the New National Educational Policy. 

The four-year Bachelor of Management Studies program, which has been newly introduced at the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode, offers a major in management along with minors in a wide range of subjects. This program is divided into three levels and they are core courses, foundational courses, and elective courses.

Students who pursue their academic qualification in the newly introduced program of the Indian Institute of Management will receive support with landing both compulsory industrial internships and necessary placements. Through the Corporate Access Readiness and Engagement (CARE) program, the institute will offer the required career assistance. Students might anticipate having placement options in a variety of jobs and sectors within corporate firms.
