The Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIMK) has announced admissions for the 18th batch of its Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management (EPGP), which is recognized as a two-year Executive MBA and is designed for working professionals.

The EPGP at IIM Kozhikode is AMBA and EQUIS accredited, has 750 hours of teaching through an Interactive Learning (IL) platform, and has three weeks of campus immersion across the two years.

The curriculum of the program covers Finance, Accounting, Strategy, Marketing, Operations, and Human Resources and also electives covering International Business, Digital Transformation and Corporate Responsibility.

Each participant learns through a blend of lectures, case studies, simulations, live projects, and industry presentations by IIMK faculty and business leaders. The program also provides access to the IIMK LIVE business incubator that supports entrepreneur initiatives.

The EPGP has positioned itself as a center for mid-career professionals from IT, energy, public sector, aerospace, education, consulting, manufacturing, FMCG, automotive, banking, insurance, e-commerce, and healthcare. Individuals in earlier cohorts had between 3 and 25 years of experience, fostering an interactive peer-learning atmosphere.

The 17th batch noted 26% of women participants—doubling female representation from the previous three cohorts—demonstrating IIMK’s dedication to diversity and inclusion. To date, more than 5,000 professionals have completed the program, becoming part of an alumni network that includes over 13,000 professionals from various industries.

Highlighting the programme’s relevance, Prof. Debashis Chatterjee, Director of IIM Kozhikode, said, “As India advances towards becoming the world’s third-largest economy, the ability to lead with vision and agility will distinguish the global professionals of tomorrow. The EPGP is not merely an academic pursuit—it is a leadership crucible where professionals cultivate strategic foresight, adaptive thinking, and an ethical compass to shape the future.”

Candidates may take the Executive Management Aptitude Test (EMAT) and attend a personal interview, or submit valid CAT, GMAT, or GRE scores (not older than three years from the EMAT date). The hybrid learning model allows individuals to engage in the program while maintaining their existing positions, ensuring interruption to their careers and a significant educational benefit.
