IIM Mumbai Launches Two-Year Blended MBA for Professionals

IIM​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌ Mumbai in collaboration with Jaro Education has set up a two-year Blended Post Graduate Programme in Management (MBA–BPGP) specially designed for working professionals. The program aims to help employees to upgrade their leadership and management skills while they keep their jobs.

The program is a perfect combination of difficult academies and practical workplace application in a flexible manner and is targeted at executives who want to be able to lead their organizations to growth while still being employed.

It is a blended delivery mode program that has live online interaction sessions and two one-week on-campus immersion modules; one at the program's midpoint and another at the end for hands-on faculty engagement and campus exposure. The content of the course is more than 1,200 hours and covers core areas like Operations, Marketing, Finance, Data Science, and Sustainability besides the inclusion of aspects like strategic thinking, analytical problem-solving, and real-time business implementation.

To be able to qualify for this program, a candidate needs to have a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% of the marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD) and at least three years of full-time post-graduation work experience. A valid score of CAT, GMAT, GRE, or IMAT is also mandatory. The selection decision is made based on the performance of the candidate in the academic records, professional background, test, and other criteria set by IIM Mumbai.

The course prepares students for career opportunities in innovation, digital transformation, and environmentally friendly practices, which are in line with the ever-changing demands of the industry. Participants can also make use of IIM Mumbai's digital library and resources to improve their learning outcomes. The initiative is aimed at professionals from both public and private sectors, entrepreneurs, and managers who are confronted with a complex business environment.
